Manny Pacquiao Mukhasim Datu Puti TVC

Classic pantanggal-badtrip. If you're having the worst day of your life, watch this.
All your troubles will melt away. GUARANTEED!
I'm about to fall off my seat from laughing.
Oh, Manny, I LOVE YOU.
And! I am a new Mommy Dionisia convert. Patunay ka na hindi pa huli ang lahat.
"Roach": May ASIM pa si Mommy.
Dionisia: May TOYO ka yata eh!

PS. Boxing is not for killing. -- Manny P.

Maybe I should buy more Datu Puti so Manny and Mommy D's commercials keep on coming. This is the first time I want a sequel of a commercial. (Remember Surf?) More! More! More!

Puey Quinones

Right now I can hear my the voices of my professors from UP over and over again saying how plagiarism is equal to death.

This unfortunate incident happened to couple Jhon Maala and Shea Gamboa, who paid P30,000 in cash for the double-labeled suit. Dansen is a straight-off-the-rack suit sold at SM Department Store and Robinson's. Read more of couple's nightmare here.

Quinones just sent his career to the gallows. I'm not quick to condemn, but hey, if this happened to me, I will burn his shop down! Or, I will remove all of his fingers so that he can never draw nor stitch ever again! But that's just me. I would be terribly heartbroken if somebody deliberately ruined my wedding. And out of greed.

Dreaming of a Bahay Kubo

I am dreaming of my very own beautiful bahay kubo, I am thoroughly convinced that despite the practicality of concrete houses, the bahay kubo is still the most charming, heartwarming, organic and simply the best house adapted to tropical living. It only looks more rustic over time, not run-down, invites great insulation and ventilation. Plus the materials are sustainable, readily available and relatively inexpensive.

I can only imagine wrapping myself in a thick blanket with the aircon on full blast and waking up to the wonderful bounty of nature. Or the glorious view of the sea.

One day soon, mine, you will be.

http://samalbahaykubo.wordpress.com is really interesting!

another is http://journeytosamal.com/ I really, really need to go visit Davao. I've been obsessing about it since January. Well, that's another blogpost. :)

EPIC

Check out the mysterious fat guy whose hobby is to "videobomb" (similar to photobombing) live news reports. Hilarious! He's been around since 2009 showing up in the background of UK's various live news reports. The first known instance was during an anti-BNP protest outside the BBC TV Centre. He was seen on-camera ten times. Watch the videos of his antics.

Nike Presents The Black Mamba

My husband is absolutely a Kobe Bryant fan! He told me stories of how he used to deal NBA cards at Greenhills, where he used to score a lot of rare Kobe cards. He never watches television but when a game is on, expect him to be glued to his seat. I can only imagine the awe, fascination and adrenaline he feels. The Black Mamba will further ignite the undying passion he has for basketball. With a star-studded cast that includes Kanye West, Danny Trejo and Bruce Willis, you can never go wrong. And he LOVES Nike. Just yesterday, we were at the Nike Stadium, Shangrila Mall to buy some casual polo shirts he wore to work today!

The Black Mamba, staring Kobe Bryant, Kanye West, Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo, is a Nike Basketball production, directed by Robert Rodriguez.  The film brings Kobe’s alter ego, the Black Mamba to life in a way that’s never been seen before.

Now isn't that cool or what!

Should you fear the Black Mamba?

Those who dare attack the love of the game, give offense, disrespect and assault those who rally together to champion this sport, be afraid. Be very afraid! Beware of the Black Mamba!
