The whole circus of the Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho sex scandal garnered top media attention, putting it on national headlines (which is supposed to be of national importance) and caused much stupor that it has a prime spot in a priviledge speech in the Senate (God have mercy on this country) and a media-whoring device for women protesters and doctors alike. This attempt of amateur porn of a narcissistic plastic surgeon (Nip/Tuck, much??) to videotape his multiple sex partners proves a person's need to be validated, and in this case, that he can please a woman, and turn himself on in the process by seeing himself.
So it all comes back to himself. His issues. He of course, would have meant it for personal consumption, and not so much so for blackmail. He must have realized that he wanted to get what guys of his age are getting-- a smoking hot YOUNG girlfriend. His venture to cougarhood has gone bland, lost its taste, lost its excitement, and the prestige of "bagging a cougar" ala Ashton Kutcher. Dr. Vicky must have turned into the nurturing, providing mother-wife figure. And a vain little boy like Hayden must like that. But his raging hormones wants something like those little Playboy bunnies. With cute silicon implants and collagen lips to match. So little Hayden sneaks from Fairy Godmother Vicky's palace to look for adventure.

With no supportive family, she turns to men, and and men, who constantly validates her as beautiful. Now when these two colorful, flawed characters get together, that's absolute disaster.
Enter the most virtuous of Senators. Senator Bong Revilla, Jr. Hooray! Some cheap showbiz scandal has just won a seat in the Philippine SENATE. My God. (Senate and media has something in common -- being pathetic!) I'm gonna kill myself now. He specifically said that this violation of women should be stopped, that Hayden should be revoked of his medical liscence yada yada yada. For the love of Jesus, Bong Revilla. And his father Ramon Revilla. Let's not start!!! Remember, Lani Mercado, Gretchen Barretto, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Jennilyn Mercado, does that ring a bell?
And the story even becomes more interesting. Now that Dr. Vicky and Hayden are back together, how will she handle something she has just gotten over with, and is fresh as a lettuce in the public's eye, without looking like a desperate woman clinging to an philandering lover. All the money in the world and she cannot buy a man to be faithful.
Let's see where this goes. For the meantime, let's rethink our priorities as citizens and see where all our taxes are going.
