The Last Island at the End of Luzon

Literally. There is a big sign at the pier that says, "You are now leaving the island of Luzon."

And there is also a last island to go to that borders Samar, and the deep waters of the San Bernardino Strait.

This is that island. Calintaan.

There are two fine white sand beaches at this side of the island. The other side facing the town of Matnog is made of a coral coast, not sand. But amazing corals they have on the other side.

On the first day, we went swimming in the Small Subic Beach. Why they call it Subic I have no idea.
